该工程位于四川省峨眉山市双福河支流粗石河上，距峨眉山市仅5km。水库以灌溉和城市供水为主，兼顾乡村人饮水及牲畜供水，水库坝高58.2m，集雨面积18.3km2，总库容1518万m³，灌溉面积7.95万亩，城市生活供水量336万m3/年，于2010年10月建成运行，成为峨眉山市风景优美的休闲度假胜地之一。
Guanyinyan Reservoir is located on the Cushi River of Emeishan City, Sichuan Province, only 5 km far from Emeishan City. The reservoir mainly supplies water for irrigation and urban water consumption, and also supplies drinking water for rural residents and livestock. It has a maximum dam height of 58.2 m, a catchment area of 18.3 km² upstream of the dam site, a total storage of 15.18 million m³, and the irrigation area is 5,300 ha, and the urban water consumption supplying is 3.36 million m3 per year. It was constructed and dedicated in October 2010; it is now one of the famous Leisure vacationlands in Emeishan City.
