东城水电站位于四川省甘孜州丹巴县境内东谷河上，为该流域一库七级开发的最一级，也是本流域规模最大电站。采用引水式开发，最大闸高10m，水库库容9.6万m³，利用水头153.74m，电站装机容量81MW。电站经7.9km隧洞引水至县城西侧建厂发电。经历了著名的丹巴滑坡体等自然环境影响论证与复杂的社会环境影响论证。

Dongcheng HEP is located on the Donggu River in Danba County, Ganzi, Sichuan Province. It is the last scheme HEP of the "one reservoir of seven stages” as cascade developments and also the biggest one in this basin. It will be a diversion type scheme in the form of a cascade development，have a maximum dam height of 10 m ,a total storage capacity of 96,000 m³, a gross head of 153.74 m, a installed capacity of 81 MW. The discharge will be conveyed to the powerhouse via a 7.9 km long headrace tunnel located at the left bank of Donggu River for electric power generation on the west side of Danba county seat, After the hard studying work to the impact of the famous Danba landslide and other harsh natural environment and the complex social environment, this scheme of the Hydroelectric Project has finally been approved by the government authority.
