甲米二级水电站位于四川省凉山州盐源县境内甲米河上，属雅砻江三级支流。电站采用引水式发电，最大闸高21m，引水长度5144m，水库库容157万m³，利用水头61.5m，装机容量24MW。于2013年11月7日建成发电，该电站在国内首次实现调压室与压力管道间采用长管连接，已安全稳定运行两年多。

JiamiⅡ hydropower station is located on the Jiami river which is one of the major third level tributaries of the Yalong river in Yanyuan county, Liangshan, Sichuan Province. It is a diversion type scheme in the form of a cascade development，has a maximum dam height of 21 m , a diversion tunnel length of 5,144 m, a total reservoir storage capacity of 1.57 million m³, a gross head of 61.5 m, and the installed capacity is 24 MW. It was constructed and dedicated on November 7, 2013 , It is the first hydropower station in China that adopts the connection with a 17.5m long restricted shaft between the surge tank and the penstock. It has been operating safely and stably for more than 2 years.
