牙村水电站位于道孚县瓦日乡境内的鲜水河上，为鲜水河炉霍、道孚干流河段“一库八级”方案的最后一个梯级，上游与孟拖水电站衔接，下游与雅砻江上两河口水电站衔接。电站采用堤坝式开发，河床式厂房。电站坝址控制流域面积15288km²，采用混凝土重力坝挡水，最大坝高39.4m，总库容981万m³，利用落差22m，装机容量39.9MW，与上游关门梁水库联合运行时，年发电量1.79亿kw.h。

Yacun Hydroelectric Project is located on the Xianshui River in DaoFu county of Ganzi, Sichuan Province. It is the last scheme of "one reservoir of eight stages” as cascade developments at the main stretch of the Xianshui River between the counties of Luhuo and Daofu, and connects to Mengtuo Hydropower Station upstream and Lianghekou Hydropower Station downstream on the Yalong River. It will be a dam-type power station and with a type of the powerhouse in the river channel .The catchment area at the dam site is 15,288 km². It will have a concrete gravity dam with a Maximum dam height of 39.4 m, a total reservoir storage capacity of 9.81 million m³, a gross head of 22 m, and an installed capacity of 39.9 MW. When it cooperates with the upstream Guanmenliang reservoir, the total annual energy of 179 GW.h has been estimated to be generated.
